We believe that moral and emotional development is just as important as intellectual development. Our character education program focuses on Christian-based values and helps instill those values in your child. Academic Excellence
Along with our character education program we place a special emphasis on academic excellence. Your child will be learning and growing at First Steps. We arrange activities daily that focus on each individual child and their developmental level. These activities are designed to help your child master the developmental stage they are in and help them to progress to the next. Learning at First Steps is done through play, discovering their world, with attention given to each child’s own way of learning. Service to Families
First Steps is a small center with a family-like feel. We strive to keep relationships strong and work together as a team for each individual family. We do this in the following ways:
- Communicate daily through face to face talks and written reports
- Weekly newsletters from the director
- Weekly curriculm updates on eboard
- Open door policy for families to come in any time to visit their child
- Bi yearly Parent Teacher conferences
