The two year old classroom is comprised of children from 2 years of age until they are potty trained and until September of the year following their third birthday. The child to teacher ratio is 7:1 which is better than the state-mandated ratio of 8:1. We have 2 Two year old classrooms.
Our Program
Like in the other classrooms, activities are designed to be developmentally appropriate. In the two’s room, potty training takes center stage. As the beginnings of pretend play develop, you can observe children of this age imitating the adults and children in their lives. Dolls, animal figures, and play kitchens enhance this play. Teachers will facilitate your child’s play and guide them toward positive social behavior.
