Toddlers (12 Months-24 Months)

Our toddler program consists of children between one and two years of age. Our child to teacher ratio is 4:1 which is better than
state ratios. We have 2 Toddler classrooms.

Our Program

We place a special emphasis on language development, gross and fine motor development, and social skills. We call our toddler program the “class of discovery”, because in this class your child will be given opportunities to discover their world and how it works. We place a special emphasis on language development, gross and fine motor development, and social skills.

What to bring for your child

The following items need to be provided by the families. As items run low the teachers will let you know by writing it on your child’s daily report.

  • Diapers – You can bring extra, we have room to store them
  • Wipes
  • Change of clothes that can be left at school in case of accidents
  • Bottles - We can work with either formula or breast milk. If you are using breast milk, having frozen, backup bottles is a good idea
  • Pacifiers, if your child uses one. We begin weaning the children at this age. Typically when your child is ready we will try to only use the pacifier during nap time
  • An item from home that can be comforting for your child, such as a blanket or special toy
  • Sippy cup with name clearly written on it
  • Diaper cream, if used
