Our program is based on each individual child. At First Steps we believe that in order for your child to get the best education possible, the curriculum should be based on their developmental level and the way they learn best. Teachers at First Steps work hard to understand your child and to see how each child can be offered individualized education.

Educational tools used in the classrooms are age and stage appropriate. The teachers add to academic experiences by planning and implementing activities daily. Children will be given the opportunities to learn through playing, experiencing the world around them, discovering what makes them who they are, and interacting with their teachers.

An integral part of education is physical development. Your child will receive the opportunity for outdoor learning. Our infants go for daily walks and the older children play on the playground for at least one hour each day, weather permitting.
